Thomas the Tank Engine is chugging into the Colorado Railroad Museum for the annual Day Out With Thomas event, Saturday & Sunday September 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, & 29, 2013! All Thomas fans are invited to come spend the day with their favorite No. 1 engine. For 65 years, children have been captivated by the courageous adventures of Thomas and his engine friends.

A Day Out with Thomas is an exciting way for children and grown-ups to enter the world of Thomas & Friends. The event provides an opportunity for kids to ride on board a train led by Thomas & have their pictures taken with Sir Topham Hatt, the controller of Thomas’ railway.

Admission includes access to Museum exhibits and model train layouts, and special DOWT activities that include a petting zoo, temporary tattoos, Imagination Station (train table play area), sing-a-longs and a magic show!

Day Out with Thomas tickets are limited and advanced purchase is highly recommended. Tickets are $18 each, ages two and up. Kids under two (less than 24 months old) are free on a parent’s lap. My three year’s favorite thing about Thomas is how he always tries to be a Useful Engine! (And he loves all the trouble he gets in along the way!)

  3. Rachel Hawkins says

Both of my girls love the “chug chug” sound, they love that the trains all talk so they pretend they’re Thomas quite often.

  4. Laura says

My boys love everything Thomas the Train. But for some reason we haven’t bought tickets yet. We would love to take them!
