Strawberry Crunch Topping or strawberry shortcake crumbles are an easy to make crumble that is perfect for adding to ice cream, cookies, cakes, pies, and more. Strawberry Crunch Topping uses only 3 ingredients and is ready in under 15 minutes.

This strawberry crunch topping recipe does not use pudding mix or flour, but instead golden Oreos. Strawberry crunch topping is a fun reddish pink color and adds a lovely pop of color and flavor to any of your desserts. I used mine on Strawberry Cheesecake Hot Cocoa Bombs.

Strawberry Crunch Topping is so easy to make and can be used in a variety of ways. Add it as a topping to your ice cream, on top blondies, frosted sugar cookies, cakes, cupcakes, and even a pie.

Store strawberry crunch topping for several days in an airtight container in the fridge.

How to Make Strawberry Crunch Topping

You are going to need

  • 20 Golden Oreos
  • 1 package of Strawberry Jello, 3 oz box
  • 1/2 cup of melted butter

Here is how to make your Strawberry Crunch Topping

Preheat oven to 350.

Melt your butter in the microwave until fully melted.

Place your golden Oreos into a ziploc bag and use a rolling pin to crush them. You can also use a food processor or meat mallet, smooth side. You want them to be in small crumbles.

Once your oreos are crushed place them into a bowl.

Add the strawberry Jello over the oreo crumbles and mix to combine.

Pour the melted butter over the Jello and Oreo mixture and mix well.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the strawberry crumble onto the baking sheet and smooth it into an even layer.

Bake for 7-8 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let it cool.

Break the crumble into chunks and place it back into a ziploc bag. Crush it up again.

Store in an airtight container for up to several days in the fridge.
