This file is grouped into 6 color groups. For the SVG you can use whatever colors of vinyl you choose. Pastel rainbow colors, pretty spring colors, bright and bold colors. The options are endless. I got this boho permanent vinyl pack and used colors from it.
How to Make a Libbey Glass Can with Vinyl
To make your Libbey Glass Can you’re going to need to download the wrap SVG at the bottom of this post. You’ll also need the following supplies:
- Cutting Machine w/ Cutting Mat
- Weeding Tool
- Transfer Tape
- Parchment Paper
- Permanent Vinyl – use whatever permanent vinyl you like
- Libbey Glass Cans
- Rubbing Alcohol – I like to use wipes
How to Make Glass Can Cup with Cricut
Download the file and upload it into Design Space (or whatever software you use).
The design is already sized for a 16 oz beer glass can so you shouldn’t need to do anything to the sizing. Each color is attached for easier cutting. You can do the flowers in all one color if you choose, just attach them all and pick a color to cut them out in. Same with the hearts and flower centers.
If you want to do multiple colors like in the design then pick your vinyl colors and cut each one out. You’ll need 6 colors in total.
Weed your design once cut.
Clean your glass can with rubbing alcohol to ensure the surface is clean.
There are 2 ways to apply the vinyl to the glass can. You can do each individual color starting with the flowers first or you can layer them before putting the vinyl on the glass can. Apply the vinyl to the can.
