Easter Snack Mix

Easter Snack Mix

Sharing is caring!

Easy Easter snack mix combines candy, marshmallows, popcorn, crackers, wafers, and chocolate into a delicious easy Easter treat for kids. Easter snack mix is perfect for an Easter egg hunt snack, Easter gathering, or Easter classroom party. You can even wrap it in cute packaging and give it as gifts.

Bunny bait trail mix is a favorite with our kids and they’re so easy to whip together. A lot of the items we already keep stocked in our pantry and it’s just a matter of throwing it together in a bowl with some melted chocolate mixed in. Our snack mix is usually ready in 5-10 minutes with the hardest part melting the chocolate.

Easter Snack Mix

Easter snack mix is similar to an Easter Chex Mix, except I swapped the Chex for Peeps Cereal. The thing I love about these snack mixes is that you can add whatever snacks your kids love and if there is something I added that they won’t like you can leave it out and replace it with something else. I’ll drop some suggestions below!

Easter Snack Mix Add Ins

My Easter snack mix uses Easter Marshmallows, Pretzels, Popcorn, Peeps Cereal, M&M’s, and Strawberry wafers. You can add these or switch them up. Wondering what to add to Easter Snack Mix? Here are some suggestions:

  • Dried fruit like strawberries, blueberries, or Bananas. They were perfect in our S’more Snack Mix.
  • Nuts like peanuts, walnuts, or cashews.
  • Cereal, We used Peeps but you could also use – Cheerios, Chex Mix, or another fruity flavored cereal.
  • Popcorn – Any flavor, I used Kettle
  • Gold Fish or another Cheese cracker
  • Pretzels – Any kind/shape
  • Yogurt covered fruit
  • Easter Candy – I used M&M’s but Jelly Beans, Robin Eggs, Kisses, or any type your family loves works
  • Graham Crackers – I used Birthday Cake Bunnies, but any kind works. You could even add golden grahams cereal.
  • Cookies – I used Strawberry Wafers, but any cookie will work. Just cut it into popcorn size peices like Oreo, Chocolate Chip, or Sugar Cookies.
  • Bugels
  • Sprinkles

How to Store Easter Snack Mix

You can store Easter Snack Mix in an airtight container for up to a week.

What Chocolate to Use for Snack Mix

I used pink Candy Melts for this snack mix because I ran out of white ones. You can use any white chocolate or vanilla-flavored chocolate chips or melting wafers. I prefer melting wafers since I find they melt easier, but chocolate chips work too. My favorite melting wafers to use are the white chocolate Ghirardelli ones.

If using chocolate chips add a tablespoon of coconut oil to it because I find chocolate chips like to seize up and this helps to prevent that.

Measure out and gently mix together your snack mix items: Popcorn, Pretzels, Cereal, Bunny Grahams, M&M’s, Wafers, and Marshmallows.

Pour melted chocolate over the snack mix and mix together until fully coated.

Place the snack mix on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with Easter sprinkles (sprinkles optional).
