Did you know that you can use cake mix to make waffles or that you can put cake mix in a waffle maker? All you need to do is make your cake mix per the package directions and add it to your waffle iron!

These birthday cake waffles are made from cake mix. It’s a fun and easy way to enjoy a fun birthday breakfast. These waffles taste just like regular waffles, except with cake batter flavor. We topped ours with vanilla icing, but syrup would be a good option too.

Cake Batter Waffles

You can call these whatever you like: cake batter waffles or cake mix waffles, but whatever you call them they’ll be sure to be a hit for breakfast!

These Funfetti waffles are made with a box of cake mix and rainbow sprinkles. You can use Funfetti cake mix, but I like adding rainbow sprinkles to white cake mix. I feel like adding your own sprinkles has a more sprinkle look to it, but use whatever you have on hand.

Did you know you can substitute water for milk and oil for melted butter? You add the same measurement. It gives it a better taste, in my opinion. I also do this for cakes.
