Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts Hero

It’s finally starting to feel like fall outside. The leaves are changing, the days are getting shorter, and it’s starting to get cold outside. Fall and Winter are my favorite times of the year to get down in the kitchen when it comes to baking. There is nothing more relaxing to me than walking into a warm kitchen that smells like fresh baked treats, until I get to all the dirty dishes. I love to bake it all – cookies, cakes, pies, and even treats that don’t require an oven. Now that Halloween is over it’s time to start getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I’ve been craving my favorite meal, Thanksgiving Dinner, so to hold me over until the big day I’ve been whipping up some yummy treats using LIBBY’S® 100% Pure Pumpkin, 15oz.

With all the Holiday baking I’ll be doing I stock up on staples like LIBBY’S® 100% Pure Pumpkin, 15oz, NESTLÉ® CARNATION® Evaporated Milk, 15oz, and NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Pumpkin Spice Morsels from what I like to call the baking command center in Walmart. If you shop at Walmart chances are you’ve seen it. It’s the big display in the middle of the store with all the baking goodies on it like spices, chocolate chips, mixes, and so much more. It makes stocking up for my baking supplies a breeze when I’m doing my weekly shopping.

My kids love anything that I bake and I hope they’ll have fond memories of me making them yummy treats in the kitchen when they grow-up and I hope they continue to do the same for their kids. I’m often swatting little hands to get out of the treats while they’re cooling and our son is like a treat stealing ninja with how stealthy he gets when stealing something off the table. I whipped up some Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts and when I turned around there was one missing and he was in the living room hiding and eating it. The kids love Pop-Tarts and since I was in the mood to bake I decided to make some homemade ones we could all enjoy.

Pumpkin Pie Pop-Tarts are a lovely combination of flaky pie crust, flavorful pumpkin pie filling, and warm spices that hold you over until Thanksgiving dinner. They’re the perfect grab and go treat made with high quality ingredient that will leave the kids asking for MORE!

This Nestle Toll House recipe looks absolutely mouthwatering. I cannot wait to bake this in a few weeks after we put the barbecue away.

Wow, I love this. They look just like pop tarts, but better since they are homemade :)
