Sharing is caring!

With the kids back in school I look for ways that I can help our school. It’s hard for me to volunteer now that I have 2 little ones at home, but I like to help out the school in anyway that I can and one of those ways is through Box Tops for Education. It seems like the schools are always doing budget cuts and one of the major places that get hit are the schools. They don’t have a lot of extra money to buy to get some of the supplies they need and Box Tops for Education helps them to be able to get those items.

Bonus Box Tops
Box Tops for Education is one of America’s largest school earnings loyalty programs with over 80,000 k-8 schools that take part in the program. Since 1996, when Box Tops for Education was launched, they have contributed over $525 million to participating schools. Talk about a lot of money going back into the schools! Each Box Top is worth $.10 for your child’s school and the schools can use that money for whatever they need to buy.

Box Tops can be found on a lot of products from paper products, trash bags, and lots of General Mills® products. Right now when you shop at Walmart you can get bonus box tops on certain products like cereal, snacks, and other items. The bonus Box Tops are easy to distinguish because they have a special black label on the front of the packaging that says “5 Box Tops”. So in addition to the 1 normal Box Top you’ll also get a coupon on the box for an additional 5 box tops. Since the bonus Box Tops are on items I’m normally buying on my shopping trip getting the extra ones are a nice little bonus that will benefit our daughters school.

The next time you’re shopping at Walmart make sure to find the items with the Bonus Box Tops so your kids school can take advantage of the bonus Box Tops!
