Funfetti Easter Bunny Cheese Ball is a cake batter cheese ball dip that is delicious. Think of it as an Easter Dunkaroo dip and is paired perfectly with nilla wafers for that Dunkaroo taste.

What is a Cheese Ball

Traditionally cheese balls are made more on the savory side with cream cheese, chives, spices, and other ingredients, but they can also be made sweet for a dessert cheese ball. The main ingredient in a cheese ball is cream cheese and then you add spices, fruit, nuts, cheeses, or even meats. Cheese balls are then served with crackers, chips, bread, or veggies. They’re the perfect easy appetizer for parties and can be made with whatever your heart desires.

How to Store a Cheese Ball

A cheese ball can be stored in an air-tight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. However, depending on the ingredients used in your cheese ball it could be shorter. If you’re adding fresh fruit, veggies, or items that will spoil quicker to your cheese ball the store time will probably only be 2-3 days.

Can I make a Cheese Ball ahead of time?

You can make a cheese ball a few days in advance. Store it in the fridge in an air-tight container and don’t add the outside toppings on until the day you’re ready to serve your cheese ball.

How to Make a Funfetti Cheese Ball

Our Easter Bunny cheese ball is so easy to make. To get the bunny shape I used an Easter Bunny silicone mold, but you could place your cheese ball mixture in saran wrap and shape it yourself. I just didn’t feel that confident in my sculpting skills. I got my Easter Bunny mold for $1.25 at the dollar tree.
