Chocolate Fondue at Home

I had chocolate fondue for the first time several years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. It’s so yummy and perfect for any chocolate lover. We went to a fondue restaurant which was really pricy, but this chocolate fondue recipe can be made at home for a lot cheaper than at a restaurant. Then take your dip and turn it into a chocolate fondue platter!

For this chocolate fondue recipe you’re going to need:

  • ¾ cup of Chocolate Chips
  • 8 oz. of Cool Whip
  • ½ a teaspoon of Vanilla
  • ½ a teaspoon of Cinnamon
  • 5 Waffles
  • Heart Cookie Cutter
  • Strawberries
  • (3) Strawberry Rice Crispy Treats (cut in half)
  • Strawberry Wafers
  • Verona Strawberry Thumbprint Cookies
  • Pretzels
  • Graham Cracker (cut in ¼)
  • Cutting Board

How to Make a Chocolate Fondue Platter

Making a fondue platter is similar to making any dessert charcuterie board. Get a cutting board or serving board.

Make your dip, place it in a bowl, and place it on your board.

Arrange your fondue dippers around the dip, squeezing them together and overlapping them a little bit.

Server your board immediately.

How to Store Chocolate Fondue

Chocolate fondue should be served right after making it, but you can make it ahead and serve the fondue cold for a cool and creamy cold chocolate fondue dip. If you have any chocolate fondue dip left you can store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a few days.
