Easy Grinch Kabobs

Sharing is caring!

Easy Grinch Kabobs made with Grinch Fruit Santa Hats, Marshmallows, and desserts are an easy Grinch snack idea for any holiday party. If you’re throwing a Grinch party these Grinch fruit kabobs are the perfect Grinch snack.

This fun grinch snack is an easy holiday recipe and while I call them Grinch kabobs they can also be used as just a Santa Kabob. The Santa hat strawberries are easy to make and the rest is just layering the items on your kabobs. These Grinch kabobs without bananas are made with strawberry Santa hats, marshmallows, a donut hole, and grapes, but you can swap items out how you see fit. I’ll give more suggestions below!

Grinch Kabobs

Grinch fruit kabobs are placed onto a fruit skewer with green foods. Serve them with some grinch punch and grinch cookies while watching The Grinch movie and you have yourself a fun and delicious movie night.

To make your Grinch kabobs you’re going to need:

How to Make Grinch Fruit Kabobs

Make your Grinch Santa Hats. I got lazy with mine and didn’t add the white trim, but if you don’t want to do the candy melts and sprinkles you could add a slice of banana or 1/3 of a large marshmallow for the white trim.

Melt your green candy melts per the package directions. I used 1/3 of a package.

Put your donut hole on a toothpick and coat it in green candy melt. Place on a piece of parchment paper to harden. About 5 mins or so.

Wash your grapes and dry them well.

With your pointy side up, start to assemble your skewer.

I did green grapes, Christmas tree marshmallow, heart marshmallow, donut hole, and Santa hat.

You can go in any order you like, but start with your bottom items, slide them all the way down, and move on up.

If you want to add more decoration to your Grinch Skewers you could drizzle some of the leftover candy melts over the fruit and marshmallows and add some sprinkles.

How to Store Grinch Skewers

Grinch Skewers should be eaten the same day they’re made. The marshmallows start to harden in the fridge and the fruit starts to go bad once it’s pierced into. You can store these in the fridge overnight and enjoy them the next day, but I did start to notice the juice from the fruit starts to drip onto the marshmallows and sprinkles, making a mess.

What Fruits to add to Grinch Kabobs

If you’re making Grinch kabobs or fruit kabobs for Christmas here are some green fruits and snacks that would be perfect.

What Desserts to add to Christmas Kabobs

You’ll want to use green-colored food. Whether the food is naturally green, dyed green, or dipped into green candy melts.

  • Rice Crispy Treats
  • Mini Brownies
  • Donut Holes
  • Cake Pop
  • Mini Cookie
  • Oreo
  • Marshmallows

I would dip all of those into green candy melts.
