Bang! Boom! Pop! If you’re looking for fun ways to celebrate the 4th of July with Fireworks around the Denver Metro then look no further. Here is your guide to firework displays around Denver. Almost all Denver area 4th of July events are FREE!


WHEN: July 3, 2018, 8 p.m.
WHERE: Civic Center Park, Broadway and Colfax

The annual Independence Eve Celebration in Civic Center Park will feature a free patriotic concert, an innovative light show on the Denver City and County Building and a stunning fireworks finale. Lawn seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to bring blankets or low-rise concert/beach chairs. You’re also welcome to bring your own picnic, though concessions will also be present on-site. 


WHEN: July 4, 2018
WHERE: Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park 
Spend the day riding the roller coasters and the water slides at Elitch Gardens Theme & Water Park, Denver’s downtown amusement park, then watch a brilliant fireworks display light up the night sky, starting at dusk.

WHERE: The Hudson Gardens & Event Center 

See Super Diamond, a Neil Diamond tribute band, on July 3 and Firefall, with hits like “You Are the Woman” and “Just Remember I Love You,” on July 4. Fireworks displays follow each performance.

This free, outdoor extravaganza —The Cherry Creek Arts Festival (CCAF) weekend event is a world‐class and award‐winning celebration of the visual, culinary and performing arts. Good eats, free concerts, and lots of family friendly fun.

Professional lacrosse team the Denver Outlaws will battle it out with the Boston Cannons. After the game, enjoy fireworks within the bowl at Sports Authority Field at Mile High — pyrotechnics paired with visuals on a 220-foot-wide, high-definition screen. You’ll never forget this fireworks show!

Arvada Fireworks Display

Aurora 4th of July Spectacular

The city of Aurora, Colorado celebrates the 4th of July Spectacular and Independence Day with a fireworks show that lights up the night sky. The Aurora Municipal Center Great Lawn features live music, delicious food and a fireworks display revered as one of the best in Colorado. Check out the best viewing areas in town for our fireworks display!

Boulder: 4th on Pearl

WHEN: July 4, 2018 at 5 pm the fun begins!
WHERE: Broomfield County Commons Park
We start our celebration at 5:00 pm with pony rides and inflatables. Enjoy a free concert with the “17th Avenue Allstars” and “That Eighties Band”. Bring your picnic dinner or enjoy a dinner from our vendors at the park. After the concert, at dusk, the fireworks display begins, approximately 9:30 pm.
Castle Rock Fireworks

Englewood 4th of July Festival & Fireworks

WHERE: Cornerstone and Belleview Parks
The City of Englewood, along with the cities of Littleton and Sheridan, South Suburban Parks & Recreation District and Arapahoe County present the 2018 4th of July Festival and Fireworks on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at Cornerstone and Belleview Parks! Join them at 3 p.m. for kids’ activities, food trucks, live music and fireworks! Live band: Dragondeer 7:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Park

On Wednesday, July 4th, 2018 spend the afternoon enjoying hiking, bike riding, paddle boating, miniature golf or check out the Coolest Car Show. More than 100 vehicles, from “Steam -to-Electric” will be displayed at the Estes Park Events Complex, located at the Fairgrounds at Stanley Park. Along with steam and electric cars, other street rods, stock cars, muscle cars, sports cars, vintage and classic cars will be on display.

At 7 p.m., the Estes Village Band tunes up for its annual patriotic concert featuring the works of John Philip Sousa and others. The concert is free to attend and will be held at the Performance Park Amphitheater, at the west end of downtown. The Fireworks Show starts at 9:30pm over Lake Estes! You won’t want to miss one of Colorado’s most glorious fireworks displays! Find a grassy spot at Stanley Park, along the Lake Estes Trail or on your favorite mountainside to join in this annual tradition of national pride.

Fort Collins 4th of July Community Celebration

Independence Day in Fort Collins will include a morning parade, evening musical performances at City Park, and the traditional fireworks display over Sheldon Lake at City Park.

At 11 a.m. one of the best small town parades followed by the annual BBQ at City Park. After lunch, stroll through the many independently-owned shops in the historic commercial district located along and near 6th Street. Then, before dusk, head over to Georgetown Lake for a spectacular fireworks display at about 9 p.m.
Golden Lions Park 4th of July Festival

WHERE: 6th Street & Georgetown Lake
The Golden Lions Club is organizing and will be hosting the 4th of July community celebration in Lions Park again this year. This is one of the major ways for the Lions to give back to the Golden community and our country. We start selling raffle tickets and food at 11:00 AM and the band, beer and activities start at noon. Activities starting at noon include free rides for the kids, face painting, music provided by several bands throughout the day, and a large fireworks display in the evening. The celebration is designed to be a day for families, friends, and neighbors to get together at the beautiful park on 10th Street to picnic or purchase food and drink and enjoy all the festivities.
Green Valley Ranch (Denver) Fireworks Spectacular

Highlands Ranch July 4th Celebration
WHEN: July 4, 2018 from 4-9:30pm
WHERE: Highland Heritage Regional ParkJuly 4th Celebration and Fireworks event returns to Highland Heritage Regional Park. The celebration will start at 4:00 p.m. at Highland Heritage Regional Park concluding with the fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. Join them for balloon twisters, face painters, games & inflatables, live music and of course fireworks!

Littleton Fourth of July Festival
WHEN: July 4, 2018 from 3-10pm
WHERE: Cornerstone Park – 5150 S Windermere St, Littleton, CO 80120
There will be plenty of family fun at the 22nd Annual Family Festival and Fireworks. Activities will take place all afternoon at Belleview Park and Cornerstone Park. The event is free, but a fee will be charged for some activities.
Longmont TinkerMill 4th of July Carnival

The TinkerMill 4th of July Carnival is the place to be! This annual event is an afternoon of fun activities, live entertainment, and the best view of the Longmont fireworks display!

Louisville Fourth of July Celebration

WHEN: July 4, 2018 from 6-10pm
WHERE: Coal Creek Golf Course 585 W Dillon Rd, Louisville
This free annual community celebration includes; Live patriotic music performed by the Boulder Concert Band, Food trucks from around the region, Bouncy houses and inflatable fun, Free face painting, Free balloon twisting, and Fireworks beginning at dark (approximately 9:30 pm).

Loveland July 4th Celebration at North Lake Park

WHEN: July 4, 2018 with all day events starting at 10am
WHERE: North Lake Park
Voted one of the top 22 fireworks shows in the nation by USA Today! Located at the corner of Taft Avenue & 29th Street in northwest Loveland, North Lake Park also offers one of the area’s finest outdoor entertainment venues at the Norma & Lynn Hammond Amphitheater. Constructed and dedicated in 1996 by the Loveland Rotary Club, the City of Loveland, and many local philanthropists, this “state of the art” facility offers exceptional acoustics surrounded by grass seating. For the July 4th festivities, there will be close to 20,000 spectators gathered in this area!

Pancake Breakfast, 4 mile run, bake sale, car show, and so much more! Celebrate America’s birthday at the July 4th Festival in EB Rains Jr. Memorial Park in the City of Northglenn. Some call the event Denver’s largest family picnic as families and friends bring out their blankets and picnic baskets to get a great seat for the annual fireworks program.

Parker Stars and Stripes Celebration

WHEN: July 4, 2018 from 6 to 10 p.m.
WHERE: Salisbury Park 12010 N. Motsenbocker Road
Celebrate Independence Day at the Town of Parker’s Stars and Stripes Celebration.  Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and set up for an evening jam packed with family fun. General admission is free so save the date and come join in on the fun! Live music takes place from 6 to 9:15 p.m. and the evening concludes with an awesome fireworks display, beginning at 9:30 p.m.
