As a mom I’m learning that you don’t need tons of baby items. Now that we’re on our 4th child I’ve also learned that you don’t need to bring the whole house with you when you travel. I’m all about packing light these days and the less I can bring, the happier and more stress free I am. Having key items, that work, is really important and with small kids one of those items needs to be a quality stroller. The less bulky and heavy it is, the better. A while back we were introduced to an amazing new stroller coming out called the gb Pockit. As a mom I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one and as a mom who travels, it looked like the perfect travel accessory. So when I was given the opportunity to try out the gb Pockit I jumped at the chance. Compact, light weight, and easy to fold – this stroller is a dream come true to the on the go mom.

gb Pockit Folded

When our gb Pockit arrived it was ready to use. I’ve never had a stroller ready to use. There is always something that needs to be attached, screwed on, or put together. Not this stroller. You open the box, take off the plastic, open it up and start strollin’. How awesome is that? I love fully assembled baby gear and that added a cool point in my mom book.

The gb Pockit has a basket to hold your belongings, but it’s not very big. Since this is a light weight stroller I didn’t expect there to be much room down there, but it could easily hold a smaller size diaper bag, grocery bag, or some jackets. It also has a sun visor, extendable arm handles, swivel wheels, and an adjustable harness. The Pockit is a step above an umbrella stroller and it’s a lot more sturdier. I’ve never been a fan of umbrella strollers, but there are many times where they come in handy since they are so light weight and compact. The Pockit kicks an umbrella stroller up a notch in a unique and compact design. It does weigh a little more than a typical umbrella stroller, but it’s still pretty light weight and the fact that you can fold it up and put it into a bag makes up for it.

The Pockit easily folds down in two quick steps and can be maneuvered with one hand. It does not handle well on gravel, grass, or other uneven surfaces, but it handled nicely on sidewalks, in stores, and on any hard surface. I love how compact it is and how easy it is to fold. It takes up so little space and can fit in the overhead compartment on a train or airplane. It’s truly perfect for traveling or someone who wants a light weight stroller that takes up very little space. Perfect for the urban parent who wants a compact stroller.

Baby GB Pockit

Our gb Pockit has been great for quick trips to pick up our daughter from school, trips to the park, running errands, and I can’t wait to take it on our upcoming family vacation. All in All the gb Pockit is a nice stroller and the compact design keeps me coming back for more! You can pick one up from Babies R’ Us.

What a great looking stroller! I have to admit, strollers have come a long way since I purchased one. I love all of the amenities this one has and I think the way it folds up is great.

I need that!!! As a grandparent I find it's important to have things for the girls that work for me. The stroller my DIL has is huge and a pain to transfer from car to car. I'm all for having one that folds easily that won't take up all of the space in my trunk.

I remember the stroller days! This stroller looks like it would have been super helpful when they were little!
