Buy a Meal, Give a Meal at Sam’s Club! #HungerHeros

Sharing is caring!

I participated in this program on behalf of Champions for Kids and The Motherhood. All opinions are my own.

Helping those is need is something I do throughout the year. I know what it’s like to go without and the struggle that ensues when you’re trying to raise a child with a limited income. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for the help of other and that’s why I like to give back or pay it forward. It’s why I donate items to charities and buy from companies who give back. Champions for Kids is a cause I’ve talked about before on the blog and they’re all about helping kids in need and making sure that kids in local communities get the resources they need.

The core values of Champions for Kids are simple, yet profound, and drive their efforts to “mobilize millions” to help children: All children should have: Someone who cares; a Place to belong; Hope for tomorrow and provisions for their journey. All children. Did you know that 16 million American children live in poverty? Many of these kids don’t have reliable access to the nutritious meals that help them thrive and succeed both academically and socially.

Throughout the month of August, Champions for Kids, Tyson Foods, and KRAFT Foods can help you “Be a Hunger Hero” at Sam’s Club by purchasing any of these products at Sam’s Club, Tyson® Fully Cooked Chicken Nuggets 5 lb. bag, KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner 7.25 oz., 12 pack or CAPRI SUN Juice Drink Variety Pack – 40 pouches, and help feed* a child in need. These are all products I buy on a regular basis and I am loving the fact then when I purchase them on one of my Sam’s Club runs that I’ll also be giving back to those in need. The Hunger Heroes campaign is all about action. It’s about turning families into superheroes and tapping into the incredible power of giving. Like any good superhero, Hunger Heroes are bold, confident and even playful as they save the day in style. So when you shop at your local Sam’s club be sure to pick up these yummy items. You’ll be feeding your kids and helping kids in need!
