This post is brought to you by the new Silk Almond Coconut blend. #SilkAlmondBlends

Summer is finally here and the temperatures are on the rise. The kids are out of school and with the hot days come lots of requests for ice cream and Popsicles and of course my kids want the character ones filled with sugar and dyes. I don’t mind giving them to the kids on occasion, but I’d much rather give them something healthier and more nutritious to cool off on these hot days. We recently tried the new Silk Almond Coconut blend milk and after drinking some I knew they would be the perfect addition to some summer smoothie pops. Not only will they help the kids cool off, but they’re packed full of yummy goodness!

Silk Almond Coconut blend
Silk Almond Milk recently added 2 new blends to their line of products Silk Almond Coconut Blend in Unsweetened and Original and Silk Protein + Fiber Almond milk in Vanilla and Original. I’ve never really tried almond milk before and I should have a long time ago since regular milk always messes with my stomach. Much to my surprise the Silk Almond Coconut blend was delicious and had a nice hint of coconut to it. Creamy, delicious, and perfect for summer.

We whipped up some yummy smoothie pops that are perfect for summer and when I put them in cute popsicle molds my kids didn’t even notice that they weren’t the popsicles with the cartoons on the box. These were super east to whip up and about the same price as a box of popsicles. So not only are my kids getting a delicious and nutritious snack to cool off with, but my wallet it happy too!

Mango, Pineapple, and Peach Smoothie Pops!

Mango Pineapple Peach Smoothie Pops
Ingredients:

1 mango – diced up

1 peach – diced up

1 cup pineapple – diced up

1 cup Silk Almond Coconut Milk

(If using frozen fruit, use 1 cup of each)

Smoothie Pops
Directions:

Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth. Add to popsicle molds and freeze until firm. (I didn’t fill up the molds to the top and left a small space in case they expand when freezing.)

Makes about 6 popsicles

Enjoy!
