Our trip to Trick or Treat Street at the Colorado Children’s Museum

Sharing is caring!

A few weeks ago I told ya’ll how the Children’s Museum of Colorado was having a Halloween event called Trick or Treat Street. Well it’s going on this weekend and we decided to check it out on Friday. We went with two other moms and their kids and dressed the kids up.

We went inside the Children’s museum first and let the girls run around the small kid area and they had so much fun! This was our first trip to the museum and it was a huge hit with the kids. It was pretty crowded in the rest of the museum so we didn’t check out any of the other fun things to do inside of there, but there were stations to make Dirt Cups, Story Time, and a Magic Show. Next we headed outside to the Trick or Street festival.

We actually forgot to bring the kids trick or treat bags, but when we were walking in the museum was handing out tote bags filled with samples and other goodies, so those doubled as the kids trick or treat bags. There were about 5 places for the kids to trick or treat and I loved that they weren’t handing out candy. Instead they were handing out snacks from Snikididdy, Larabar, a Toothbrush, and a few other items. All healthy and mom approved! There was also a train for the kids to ride ($2 cash), along with some games and plenty of photo opp places!

All in All the kids had a blast and it was a great morning out. There was lots of fun stuff for the kids to do and a great way to prepare for Halloween! The Trick or Street Festival runs through 10/28 so make sure you stop by and let the kids have some Halloween fun!

*I was given tickets to attend. Regardless, All opinions are 100% my own.
