The Disney Store in Park Meadows is now OPEN!

The Disney Store in Park Meadows is now OPEN!

Sharing is caring!

I was given the opportunity to attend the grand opening of the newly designed Disney store in Lone Tree, CO. The store is part of their new design concept which aims to deliver “the best 30 minutes of a child’s day” through immersive storytelling and features a Disney Princess Castle with magic mirror, translucent trees, and the Disney Store Theater featuring the latest Disney entertainment.

Part of the opening day ceremony included a Denver Make-A-Wish recipient. She was the first child to unlock the magic of the new Disney store. Once the store is unlocked it comes to life with glowing trees, interactive displays, and a theater.

Did you know each day one lucky child gets to unlock the Disney store? How cool is that?

(Sydney, the make-a-wish recipient in her beautiful belle outfit, with her family at the grand opening.)

I am not too familiar with Lone Tree and the Historical land marks, but the new Disney store has scenes painted around the store and they include local land marks to Lone Tree. There was Schweiger ranch, the rocky mountains, and the lone tree symphony orchestra to name a few of the landmarks depicted. You’ll have to visit the store to find out the rest of them and to see if you can find the hidden Mickey in the store.

When I think of Disney I think “magical” and this store was magical. There is a blue sparkly path that goes around the store, the magical princess castle, and interactive theater.

My daughter had a blast with the castle and theater. In the princess castle you can take princess items in the store, wave them over the mirrors, and a Disney princess will show up on the mirrors. The princess tell a magical story that is sure to please any little girl. When you get to the end of the blue path you end up at the Disney Theater where your kids can watch Disney clips from a selection of Disney favorites. There are also times throughout the day where the Disney villains make an appearance and try to take over the store. When this happens your kids can watch mickey and his friends fight to save the store from the evil villains.

(Interactive Disney mirror, princess castle, and a wall full of princess dolls. I am in LOVE with these dolls. I want them all!!!)

I loved the magical trees throughout the store. Once the store is unlocked they light up and change to different moods, seasons, and even have different Disney characters.

I’ve always been a fan of Disney and the Disney store. I grew up watching all the movies, visiting the theme park on a regular basis, and shopping at the store, so seeing the new interactive store is great! I was very impressed with it and love the concept and design. It was truly a magical experience that any child or adult will enjoy…

Next time your in the Park Meadows mall stop by the new Disney store and take a look around. There are so many amazing features that your family will LOVE it!

(The cutest little Disney fan, EVER!)

We didn't go to the grand opening because we had Rockies tickets, but we went to the media day the day before the store opened to the public and learned all about it - it's such a cool concept! I took my daughter back there just yesterday. The only thing I was sad about is that a wall of products they had before the store opened (coffee mugs, iced drink cups etc) wasn't there yesterday and I wanted a mug from there. Oh well!
