With the Nostalgia Mini Donut Bakery you can cook delicious mini donuts and other pastries at home without the mess and fuss of frying or turning on an oven. Use your favorite donut recipe or store-bought mix to make pastries. Bake up to six mini donuts at a time. It’s great for snack time, party time or anytime!

I was sent the Mini Donut Bakery for review and I was very anxious to try it. I love to bake and have always wanted a fun baking appliance.

The thing I LOVE most about the Mini Donut Bakery is that I can have mini donuts in a matter of MINUTES! Before using my donut maker I read the directions and it said that donuts would cook in about 5 minutes. When I put in my first bath of donuts I cooked them for 5 minutes and ended up burning them. I tested a few more batches and with each batch I learned something new.

Here are my tips for the Mini Donut Bakery:

  • Do a test batch with your maker to see how long it takes to cook donuts. I was able to cook a batch in 2-3 minutes.
  • Put your batter into a pipping bag or ziploc bag for easy pouring.
  • Fill the whole bottom tray with batter up to the line. I was under filling my batter and the tops of the donuts weren’t cooking. DON’T go over the line though since it will over flow.
  • The maker gets VERY hot so be very careful. Remove donuts with a wooden spoon so you don’t burn yourself or scratch the maker.
  • You can spray you maker with cooking spray, but I didn’t find it necessary.

Play around with your maker. You could make pretzels, donuts, cupcakes, or whatever your heart desires with this maker! I really do love this little appliance. It heats up quickly and has a light to let you know it’s hot, cooks quickly, and cleanup is a breeze.

The Mini Donut Bakery even comes with recipes!

Place batter in a ziploc bag and cut off the end. It makes pouring the batter so much easier and cleanup is a breeze.

Fill batter to the brim. It will help to cook your batter more evenly. Make sure you don’t overfill though.

Got Mini Donuts?

Yumm!

Double Yumm!!

For a fast and easy frosting take a can of store bought frosting and heat in the microwave for of 10 seconds at a time until frosting is slightly melted. I melted half a can in about 15-20 seconds. You don’t want it fully melted, just warmed up so it turns into a glaze that makes dipping easy. Dip your donuts into the glaze and place on a cooling rack and add sprinkles before the glaze hardens.

I would recommend the Nostalgia Mini Donut Baker to anyone looking for a fun baking appliance or a donut maker. It makes baking quick and easy. You don’t need an oven or drying pan and clean up is minimal.

Sorry I need your help, my family gave me that donut maker and it's awesome, but the problem is that I wanna make bagels, because appears that you can make bagels too, but it doesn't appear the recipe of them so I don't know what to do. Do I search how to make bagels and I use the same recipe but with the donut maker? I have no idea please help!
