2013 Hyundai Elantra GT

Sharing is caring!

I was provided a 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT for review purposes. All opinions are 100% my own!

2013 Hyundai Elantra GT

The 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT is a sleek and sporty version of the Elantra. It’s not super roomy but, it’s also not cramped. It’s somewhere in between and with 2 adults and 2 kids in it we were more then comfortable. The toddlers car seat fit in the back perfectly and with someone next to her there wasn’t room for anyone else in the back since her seat is so bulky. There is more then enough trunk space for shopping trips, baby gear, or a combination of both along with back seats that fold down if more space is needed and the Elantra GT also has a hidden cargo area in the trunk.

When I first got into the Elantra I was impressed with the interior. It’s a very nice car, with some fabulous features such as a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, a cooled glove box, multiple audio connections and chargers, 7 inch touchscreen and much more! The Elantra also has Assurance Connected Care powered by Blue Link. The Assurance Connected Care helps to keep your Elantra GT performing at its peak. It offers alerts when car care is due, monthly vehicle health reports, and can even help you schedule a service appointment from the driver seat. These features, and more, are included at no additional charge for the first three years of ownership.

Since I was able to get some driving in without the kids I wanted to see what this sporty looking car could do and boy was I in love. The Elantra is fast and when putting the peddle to the metal it really takes off. Before I knew it I was looking down at the speedometer and slowing down so I wouldn’t get a speeding ticket. The whole time the Elantra hugged the road with ease and the engine was powerful enough to tackle all the steeps hills of the San Francisco Bay Area. The Elantra has knee airbags along with six other airbags to help keep you safe and an auto defogging system to keep your windshield clear at all times. That is a great thing to have in the foggy bay area and the Elantra GT has a 5 star crash safety rating.

The Elantra GT gets an Est. MPG of 26 city / 37 hwy, which is pretty good in my book. Starting at just $18,545 the Elantra GT is a fun, sporty car to have!

I can't get my 2013 Elantra to defog. What settings did you use? I am really worried about the upcoming winter months.
