A few months back I posted about Detox Water, which I love. It’s a fun twist on drinking water and it helps to clean your system out. I usually drink a glass a day of it and the rest of the day I’m left with plain, boring water. This got me thinking of fun ways to make water drinking more flavorful and I’ve been drinking this fruit water as well. The great thing about it is you can add whatever you want to it. Use what’s in season or if you buy in season and freeze, then use the frozen fruits. The possibilities are endless and here are some of my favorites!
- Kiwi Strawberry Water.
- Peach Raspberry Water.
- Citrus Water – Oranges, Limes, and Lemons.
- Watermelon Water.
Mint is optional for ALL of the flavor combos!
For all of these all you need to do is rinse your fruit really well and dice them up. Place in a pitcher and cover with water. Then place in the fridge for a few hours or over night to infuse! Super simple and so delicious!! This is so much better then drinking the store bought flavored waters, juice, or soda and it’s so much more refreshing.
For this pitcher I used 1 orange, 1 apple, 1 pear, and a few strawberries. This would also be good with some raspberries and mint leaves added. I filled the pitcher with cold water and let it sit for a few hours before enjoying. Yummmmy and so healthy!
