Chamoy Rim Dip

–  1/2 cup Chamoy – 1/2 cup Sugar (can substitute for Lucas candy, same amount) – Lime Juice from 1 lime or 1.5 tablespoons – 10 Pulparindo Candy – 1/2 cup Water – 1/2 cup Tajin Seasoning

Place your chamoy and lime juice into a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Bring to a boil and turn heat to a simmer. Add your Pulparindo candy to the skillet. I broke mine up into pieces, but it’s not necessary. Stir the pulparindo candy into the chamoy and stir until the pulparindo is fully melted. This can take 7-8 minutes. Make sure to constantly stir so your sauce/candy doesn’t burn. Once your pulparindo candy is melted add the sugar, tajin, and water. Mix well. Simmer for 2-3 minutes and remove from the heat. Let cool. Your chamoy paste will thicken as it cools. Store at room temp until ready to enjoy. Once you are ready to enjoy dip your can or glass into the rim paste and then sprinkle with some more tajin. Enjoy!
