Alamo DraftHouse Summer Family Fun!

Alamo DraftHouse Summer Family Fun!

Sharing is caring!

One of my favorite things about summer is all the new movies that come out and that many theaters, like Alamo Drafthouse, have summer programs where you can watch family friendly movies on the cheap. One of the great things about this is that the theater is full of little kids, so it’s more of a kid friendly environment. While I still encourage my kids to be silent during the movie I don’t stress too much over their little questions throughout.

Alamo DraftHouse has a great line up of kids movies for their kids camp like Trolls, Despicable Me, The Lego Movie, How to Train Your Dragon, and much more. Many of them are favorites in our house, so I know my kids will have a lot of fun seeing it in the theater with a milkshake and popcorn. Alamo DraftHouse has a great selection of food and drinks to enjoy during your movie. They also have a kids menu that is loaded with some of my kids favorite things like mozarella sticks, milk shakes, and pizza.

When you visit your local Alamo DraftHouse this summer you have to sign up for their Summer Family Fun Card. The card is FREE to get and your kids can enjoy sweet rewards for seeing their favorite movies this summer. Here’s how it works:

  • ‘Summer Family Fun Card’ program runs from June through August at participating Alamo Drafthouse locations
  • Pick up a card from the ticket counter at your local (participating) Alamo DraftHouse
  • Watch fun summer movies
  • Earn stickers for each movie
  • New releases = 2 sticker (hello Incredibles 2, Hotel Transylvania 3, and Ben 10)
  • PBS and Kids Camp = 1 sticker
  • Collect stickers, earn sweet prizes like free milkshakes, free pizza and free movies
