5 Must Have Newborn Bath Items + Babies R’ Us Baby Registry!

This post is sponsored by Babies R’ Us! All opinions and product recommendations are my own!

Having a baby can be pretty stressful, especially if you’re a first time parent. There are so many products to choose from and so many things you need that shopping can become overwhelming. Thankfully many stores offer baby registry’s with checklists that help make shopping easier and Babies R’ Us is one of those stores. When I had my 2 previous kids I registered at Babies R’ Us and while I don’t think I’ll be having a baby shower this time around, I’ve still started a registry just so I can keep track of the items I need to buy or want. Thankfully setting up a baby registry with Babies R’ Us is an easy, quick, and painless process. You can do so online or in store and once you’ve entered your information the fun begins and you can start adding all the cute baby items you want to your registry. Babies R’ Us even has a pretty sweet promotion going on right now called the Sweetest Deal Registry where if you create a baby registry between now and Nov 15th, 2013 you can get up to  $200 back for purchases made from your registry.

How it works is you create your baby registry and anytime someone buys something off your registry Babies R’ Us keeps track of it and 10 weeks after your little ones arrival Babies R’ Us sends you a gift card for 10% of all the items purchased, up to $200. Plus, while in-store, you will also receive additional perks, such as a special welcome package, which includes a Baby Registry Planner with a full checklist of essential items, invitation cards to inform family and friends that you’re registered at Babies“R”Us, a $5 off $25 coupon, product samples and more. I don’t know about you, but this seems like a pretty sweet deal to me. Why not get some extra perks on top of all those gifts you’ll be receiving!

I’ve been shopping like crazy since I found out I was pregnant and while I have a lot of what we’ll need there are still a bunch of essentials like bibs, onesies, socks, and bath products that we’ll need! Bath time is one of my favorite times with baby and here’s a list of my must have items for bath time with a newborn.

5 Must Have Bath items for a Newborn 1. Summer Infant Bath Tub // 2. Hooded Towels // 3. Baby Wash & Lotion

// 4. Bath Thermometer // 5. Wash Cloths

Luckily newborns and babies are easy when it comes to bath time and you won’t need anything other then these items!

    as my nephew says,, Start stocking up on diapers.. I have 3 family members expecting so I guess this would be a head start on the diaper stash.

    Just like you, for my third baby we had a registry to add to what we already had. Our church gave us a baby shower, but I requested that it be a “diaper and wipes” shower. Now, a year later we still haven’t had to buy any diapers.

    We registered for a lot of big stuff….stroller, carseat, pack-n-play, swing, bouncer, highchair. Were glad people went together and bought the big items for us:)

    Towels, wash cloths, bottles, teething toys, burp cloths…. I don’t remember, and it was only five years ago! I personally hardly ever used the baby bathtub that we received. When it comes to bathing babies, nothing ever was better than the golden standard: the kitchen sink! I also never used a bath thermometer. I just used common sense. It’s sad how lacking it is nowadays.

    We had a lot of stuff on our registry! Crib, pack n play, carseat, blankets, clothes, pretty much everything when we registered for our first.

    I’m expecting my first baby this fall. I registered for the big items like a swing, glider and baby monitor. We haven’t received any, so this gift card would be applied towards one of those and some Pampers Swaddler Diapers for my baby girl. Thanks for the opportunity.
